Boston Downtown - West Street
Another view of West Street. The school is surrounded by shops and restaurants; Boston Common is at the end of the street. The central location is just great for those who want to step out of class and into the busy city.
Find out more about our location on the Boston Downtown local information page. You may also wish to explore the area further on the 'street view' facility of Google Maps, which allows you a 360º view of the environment.

Boston Downtown - Students in class
Students in mid-class, working together to discuss a language question. Your classes at Embassy will be fast-paced and varied. There will be times when the class works together as a whole, times when you work in pairs, and in groups. Games, role-plays, debates.
You'll never be bored. And you know what's amazing? That out of all this fun comes fluency.

Boston Downtown - chatting students
An important part of the Embassy experience is the friends you will make - friends from many different countries around the world.
These are the people you'll be learning English with. When your conversations continue outside the classroom, your English continues to improve, too.
And it's the friendships you make that will stay with you when you go back home. Perhaps you'll keep in touch, and always remember the special time you shared in the city of Boston.

Boston Downtown - Boston Common
Boston Common is a large park very near our Downtown school.
The 50 acres of land is a space for picnics, relaxation, sports and entertainment. Here you'll find Frog Pond, a paddling pool in the summer and a skating rink in the winter; a bandstand where you can see regular music and theatrical events; and the beginning of the Freedom trail, a 2.5 mile walk which takes you to 16 historic sights of Boston.
Boston Common is also where you'll find the tourist information office.
In the background of this picture you can see the gold dome of the Massachusetts State House, home of the state government.
