How do you measure success?

It’s different for everyone, but one thing is for sure - Embassy CES will help you succeed. See below for some examples of success with Embassy CES.

Pass an exam

An exam preparation classExam results are a measurable sign of success. Our Examination Preparation courses make sure you are completely ready to do the best you can. With our careful methods we get great results.

sample successStudents at our Sydney school received some excellent IELTS results in the first half of this year. The highest overall score received by a student was 7.5 and the average overall score was 6.5. The highest scores achieved for each of the test modules were:
Listening: 8.0  Reading: 8.5  Writing: 7.0  Speaking: 8.0  What do these scores mean? See our page about English levels.

Work in an English-speaking environment

Lesya Dobrovolska does some filing at Atlantic RecordsFor some, it's not exam results but real-life outcomes that matter. There is no  better proof of your success than working in an English-speaking environment. It clearly shows that you have the ability to think, write, and communicate with fluency and in the correct vocabulary for your industry.

Follow our Certificate for Business English and you will find a world of job opportunities opening up. Or follow one of our Internship programmes for a taste of working in English.

Sample successLesya Dobrovolska worked as an intern at Atlantic Records in New York.

"We got acquainted with the Artist Executive and Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group. They told us about their path to success and gave us some advice about what we should do in order to succeed in our lives. Then the Executive Vice President signed his book "From Intern To President. Make It Happen" for each of us.  I went to the CBS Broadcast Centre and had a chance to see how a music show is filmed."

Raise your level of English

Students in a Language LaboratoryMany students arrive at Embassy CES with no knowledge of English, or very little. Yet by the time they leave, they are approaching total fluency.

We reckon it takes about six weeks of full-time study to move up a level. That means that even if you are a true beginner now, you could be studying at university or working in an English-speaking environment in less than one year. If you’re determined to succeed, our long-term Diploma courses are probably the option for you.

Sample successTibor Foldes from Hungary studied at Embassy CES in Hastings. He says:

I'm studying Upper Intermediate now and I was Pre-Intermediate when I began. I've made progress but not just because I've studied hard. It's easy to gain English here.

Gain a university place

Happy students graduate from Embassy CES

Applying for university in an English-speaking country can be a complicated process. At Embassy CES we make it easy. Our University Preparation courses make sure that you have the level of English you need, and are fully prepared for study at a university level. Our arrangement with partner universities means that we can arrange everything, from helping you choose the best course to making the application.

sample successLilian Velasquez from Chile studied at Embassy CES Gold Coast.
"I needed to improve my English to start a Metallurgic PhD course at Murdoch University. Not only did my English improve, but I also learnt, for example, the best way to face an audience and feel confident and successful, how to write perfect academic English, and how to improve my skill in reading and listening".

Make conversation all across the world

Students of different nationalitiesFor some people none of the above matters. They simply want fluent English so that they can talk to anyone anywhere in the world. Indeed, conversation is a great pleasure and you can always learn from speaking with people from other countries.

That is part of what makes life at Embassy CES so pleasurable: you'll make friends from places you've hardly dreamed of.

Sample success

Yelena Notche from Cameroon studied at Embassy CES in Oxford. She says:

"What I really like most at Embassy CES is the cosmopolitan environment. I have friends from Korea, Japan, Nigeria, Iran, France, Colombia, and Germany. It helps me learn a bit more about different cultures and improve my English because together we can only speak in English".
