Lina Hoyos, Colombia
I'm from Colombia and I'm 28. It's very nice and I enjoy it a lot. There are Chinese students, Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Iranian, German... my class is very cosmopolitan.
I'm enjoying my time here. The teachers are very interested in us and all the time they are trying to help us. They are young, like us, and we go with them to a pub, to a party, karaoke; we play games with them, and that's what I enjoy.
I need English for my job. At the moment I am working for a little company in Colombia. I'm an account manager so it's very important for me if I want to get a better level in the organisation, to speak English. That's why I'm here. They sent me to study here.
When I left my school ten years ago, I stopped studying English. I stopped studying for ten years. For me it was a little difficult to remember my English because during ten years I'd forgotten.. but at the moment it's all coming back.
I like the games in the class. It's a good idea because sometimes you need to feel like you are not really studying - you are having a good time so it's easy to remember vocabulary and the things that you have to learn. I think that the different activities that they have are very good.
