Five fun things to do near the school

  • Like shoes? Visit the Bata shoe museum where you will find over 12,500 of them!
  • Enjoy the many restaurants and shops in Toronto's Little Italy, Chinatown and Koreatown, all nearby. Wonderful for homesick Korean, Chinese or Italian students, and fabulous for everyone else!
  • Walk ten minutes in almost any direction and find one of Toronto's many parks, including Queen's Park, Christie Pits Park and Roycroft Park.
  • Shop for vintage clothes, enjoy quirky boutiques and eat food from many nations at Kensington Market .
  • The school is situated within the Yorkville shopping district, a great place to browse, eat and shop.

February Winterlicious: Enjoy discounted meals in participating restaurants - and watch out for Summerlicious in July.
March St Patrick's Day parade: The city's Irish population celebrates with a colourful procession and plenty of partying.
April CN Tower climb: Fit folk raise money for the WWF by running (or walking) up the 144 flights of stairs inside the CN Tower.
May Doors Open Toronto: Historic and interesting buildings are open to the public for free for a couple of days during May.
June North by Northeast: Five-day music and film festival held in many downtown venues.
June Toronto International Dragon Boat race: Watch several races in this colourful competition on Main Channel, Toronto's Centre Island.
July Muslimfest: Annual celebration of Muslim arts and culture.
August Buskerfest: You'll find street performers everywhere you go.
August Canadian National Exhibition: Massive event including ice skating contests, horse show, animals, and even a butter sculpture competition.
November Toronto Santa Claus parade: Famous, massive display of Christmassy and winter-themed floats and bands. See it in person or on the TV.

The school is located at 80 Bloor Street West, Suite 900, directly above Bay Subway Station. It is at the corner of Bay and Bloor Street West, between GAP Kids and Banana Republic.
