Embassy Seattle-Tacoma: accommodation
Accommodation options for students at Embassy Seattle-Tacoma
Homestay
Live as part of an English-speaking household. You'll have your own bedroom (or share with a student from another nationality if you choose a twin room), and eat breakfast and evening meals with your hosts.
It's a great chance to meet native Tacoma residents and share their way of life. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.
At Embassy Seattle-Tacoma, our Homestay households are almost all within five miles from the school. Most houses in this area are modern, with gardens. The locale has a suburban feel to it, allowing for a quiet home life and quick access to the city - the best of both worlds.
Student residence
For students who would like more independence, and a chance to socialise with friends from around the world. Our student residences consist of typical university campus accommodation, with study-bedrooms arranged around communal areas.
In Seattle-Tacoma, our student residence is on the PLU campus, meaning you can walk to school within minutes, and also live among American students. All rooms are shared, with two beds.
Rooms feature internet and cable TV access; shared bathrooms and showers are located on each floor, and there are also large comfortable common areas for studying and watching TV with friends. There are communal laundry facilities.
We also have access to dormitory and apartment-style accommodation: please contact us for further information.
