Accommodation options for students at Embassy Seattle-Tacoma

Homestay

Live as part of an English-speaking household. You'll have your own bedroom (or share with a student from another nationality if you choose a twin room), and eat breakfast and evening meals with your hosts.

It's a great chance to meet native Tacoma residents and share their way of life. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.

At Embassy Seattle-Tacoma, our Homestay households are almost all within five miles from the school. Most houses in this area are modern, with gardens. The locale has a suburban feel to it, allowing for a quiet home life and quick access to the city - the best of both worlds. 

Student residences

For students who would like more independence, and a chance to socialise with friends from around the world. We offer the choice of two student residences.

In Seattle-Tacoma, our primary student residence is University Park. You'll live among American students, just five minutes' walk from school. All rooms are shared (with another Embassy student). 

Rooms are arranged in apartments, with shared kitchen, living room and deck. There is free wifi access, and access to shared self-service laundry facilities.

If you would prefer single room accommodation, the Red Lion hotel is a good option. It's 15 minutes by bus from the school, and offers single rooms with a private bathroom, fridge and microwave, and free wifi.

There is access to the hotel's pool, jacuzzi and fitness centre, and a daily continental breakfast is included in the price.
