London: accommodation
Accommodation options for students in London
Student residences
For students who would like more independence, and a chance to socialise with friends from around the world. Our student residences consist of typical university campus accommodation, with study-bedrooms arranged around communal areas. In Embassy London, this is a very convenient option, since the residences are on the same site as the school, just a minute's walk away.
The study bedrooms are mostly single, but a few twin rooms are also available. All have private bathrooms; some rooms have shared kitchen facilities while others have a mini-kitchen within the room. For those who do not wish to cook, three meals a day are available in the school cafeteria.
There are also shared laundry facilities and every room has the option of internet access (with start-up fee). Download a photobook showing the London student residence [PDF].
Hotels
We can advise you and also help you book accommodation in a number of recommended hotels. Please contact us if you would like more advice about accommodation.
Homestay
Live as part of an English-speaking household. You'll have your own bedroom (or share with a student from another nationality if you choose a twin room), and eat breakfast and evening meals with your hosts.
It's a great chance to meet native Londoners and share their way of life. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.
All Embassy London Homestays are no more than 60 minutes away by public transport (and usually nearer). You'll stay in one of the residential areas of Greenwich, Deptford, Blackheath, Eltham, Maze Hill, or Charlton. There are many styles of architecture ranging from terraced and detached houses to flats.
