From Gatwick (south terminal):
Trains to St Leonards Warrior Square run hourly. The journey time is about one hour 45 minutes (and costs approx. £16.00).
From London Charing Cross: Take a train to St Leonards Warrior Square (final destination is likely to be Hastings). During peak times direct trains depart twice an hour. They take about one and a half hours, and only stop at major stations.
A single ticket costs about £22.00, but by booking ahead, or purchasing a season ticket, you will get cheaper prices.
From London Victoria: Take a train to St Leonards Warrior Square (final destination is likely to be Hastings). These usually depart from platforms on the extreme right of Victoria station beyond the departures display board. During peak times direct trains depart once an hour. They take just under two hours and only stop at major stations.
From St Leonards Warrior Square station: Our school is approximately five minutes' walk away. Leave the station by the main entrance, into the car-park. You will see a walkway going uphill on your right. Follow this path to the main road, London Road. Turn left down this road and walk for a minute or two until you see a large church on the other side of the road. Cross the road, and walk up the hill on Pevensey Road, with the church now on your right.
After a few minutes, Pevensey Road forks: take the right-hand fork, Charles Road. Almost immediately, this road forks again: you will see Embassy Hastings on the corner between Charles Road and Dane Road (look for the Embassy sign).
The main entrance is at the back of the building, on Charles Road.
By foot from the centre of Hastings: It is approx 1.5 miles from the centre of Hastings to our school.
The easiest route is to walk to the seafront, then turn right, or towards the West. After about a mile, you will pass Warrior Square Gardens on your right. Two blocks later, take the London Road inland, and take the 7th turning on your left, Pevensey Road.
By train from the centre of Hastings:
Take any train going westwards to Eastbourne, Brighton or Chichester – or any London train. St Leonards Warrior Square is one stop away, and takes just three minutes.
