Five fun things to do near the school
- Hire a punt (a flat boat) and indulge in the classic summertime Cambridge activity of floating downriver with a picnic
- Shop in the many excellent high street shops and boutiques in Cambridge's city centre
- Take a walking tour of historic Cambridge with one of the many guides offering this service
- Pop into one of eleven major museums in the town, ranging from art galleries to a museum of Arctic and Antarctic exploration.
- If it's warm (or if you feel brave) go for a swim in the outdoor pool on Jesus Green. Otherwise, there's an indoor pool and sports hall just 20 minutes from school.

How to reach Embassy Cambridge
From London Kings Cross: Take any train to Cambridge: these usually depart from platforms 9 or 10, which are accessed from half way along platform 8. Allow plenty of time to find your platform, if possible, as it can be confusing for the first-time visitor.
During peak times trains depart to Cambridge at least three times an hour. Direct trains take approximately 45 minutes and only stop at major stations.
From Cambridge station: 10 minutes by taxi or 25 minutes' walk:
Walk down Station Rd to the end.
Turn right down Hills Road and follow it down to the cathedral crossroads, where you turn left onto Lensfield Road.
Follow Lensfield Road to the mini roundabout, and then go straight over onto Fen Causeway.
Follow Fen Causeway over the bridge to next roundabout, where you turn left and then right onto Barton Road. Grange Road is about another 100m on the right at the first traffic lights. The school is then another 50m on the right.
