Cambridge: accommodation

Accommodation options for students in Cambridge

Homestay

Live as part of an English-speaking household. You'll have your own bedroom, and eat breakfast and evening meals with your hosts.

It's a great chance to meet native Cambridge residents and share their way of life. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.

All Embassy Cambridge Homestays are a maximum of 20 - 30 minutes away by public transport (or 15 - 20 minutes by bicycle). Cambridge is a historic city, and many different styles of architecture are found here. Houses range from modern detached or semi-detached properties with gardens, to older terraced houses with small or no gardens, to large and luxurious homes with impressive gardens.

Student residences

For students who would like more independence, and a chance to socialise with friends from around the world.

The student residence in Cambridge is Tripos Court. It's close to the city centre and 15-20 minutes by bicycle from the school. You'll live within modern blocks of single en-suite rooms, with large, shared kitchens (six rooms to each kitchen). There are bicycle parking facilities, a launderette, and a warden lives on site.

This is a self-catering residence. Download a photobook showing the Tripos Court residence PDF document.
