Keep an open mindMy experience
I’ve been teaching in Poland and in Brighton for some years now and I find teaching very rewarding. I love learning languages myself, I studied German and Swedish and I would like to learn Japanese one day. I’m really keen on the concept of blended learning as I feel there is a huge potential in teaching with technology, for example using mobile learning, and online courses. -

My top tip for enjoying life in Brighton
Brighton has a great atmosphere so live life to the full and get involved. Don’t stay in all week - go to the North Laine and the Lanes, or to the beach. They are always buzzing with people.
My experience
I have been a teacher since 2003. It was inevitable really as I come from a family of teachers. I taught in Italy for a couple of years and eventually moved to Brighton to do my Masters and DELTA. I love it here so I decided to stay, and I have been at Embassy for just over a year. I find that every student has different strengths, and I like helping them to recognise them and make the most of them.

My experience
I used to be an artist living in Spain but trained to be a teacher in 2005 because I enjoyed travelling and meeting new people from exciting countries. I am obsessed with language and communication. I have travelled to Spain, Italy, Kenya, Austria and France. Now I love helping students develop their language and confidence in their abilities. Studying should be fun and challenging. Now I also manage general English and elective courses as well as doing some teacher training, but the teaching has always been my motivation. My hobbies are painting, listening to live music and dancing.
