Brighton: FAQs

These are the questions we are most frequently asked about studying at Brighton.

If you have a question and cannot find the answer below, please contact us - we'll be happy to help, and we might even add your question to this page.

How far is the school from the city centre?

The school is in the city centre. Two minutes' walk take you to the North Laine, or five minutes to the High Street shops of the Churchill Square Shopping Centre, the Lanes, and North Street. You'll find a map on the Brighton local information page.

How far are the residences / the Homestays from the school?

Please see our Brighton Accommodation section for full details. Homestays are a maximum of 45 minutes away by public transport, and usually closer. The residence is attached to the school.

Is there internet access at the school / at the residence / in Homestay? Is it free to use?

All our schools have wireless internet access which is free and unlimited. Students can also use the school computers for free all day, but may have to wait during busy times.

The residence has wireless internet access throughout.

Homestays differ, and we cannot guarantee internet access. Please mention at the time of booking if it is important to you, and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Can I see some photos of the school / the residence?

Please see our Brighton photo gallery. If you would like to see more photos, just contact us. We can email you pictures that will help you to imagine life at Embassy Brighton a bit more clearly.

Do I need a car in Brighton?

No. Brighton can get severely congested, and parking is always difficult. The school is central and easily accessible by public transport, and our Activities programme will take you to many surrounding places, so we'd recommend that you don't need a car.

You will find the answer to more general questions about Embassy on our main FAQs page.
