Brighton: accommodation
Accommodation options for students in Brighton
Homestay
Live as part of an English-speaking household. You'll have your own bedroom (or share with a student from another nationality if you choose a twin room), and eat breakfast and evening meals with your hosts.
It's a great chance to meet native Brightonians and share their way of life. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.
All Embassy Brighton Homestays are no more than 45 minutes away by public transport (and usually nearer; many are within walking distance). Brighton is a historic city, and many different styles of architecture are found here. The area closest to school consists mostly of terraced houses, but you may also find yourself in a flat in a historic Regency or Georgian terrace, a semi-detached or detached house, or a modern apartment.
Student residences
For students who would like more independence, and a chance to socialise with friends from around the world. In Brighton, our student residences are extremely popular, so we advise you to book well ahead of time if this is your preferred option.
Students in Brighton can live on-site in a residential block which is attached to the main school. You can jump out of bed and be in class within minutes in the morning, and in the evening you are close to the entertainments of the city.
The modern bedrooms are all en-suite, and mostly single, although there are a few shared rooms available. There is wireless internet access throughout the residence, and each of the five floors has its own shared common room. Laundry facilities are available. Supervisors live on-site.
Meals are taken in the school cafeteria, which is open for three hot meals a day. Download a photobook showing the Brighton student residence [PDF]
Hotels
We can advise you and also help you book accommodation in a number of recommended hotels. A budget hotel, the Jurys Inn, is situated directly opposite the school, and there are many other options around the city. Please contact us if you would like more advice.
