- Do I need a car at Boston Merrimack?
-
You do not need one - the school itself is reasonably easily accessible by public transport, and all Homestay students will be driven to and from school each day. Our Activities programme will take you to many surrounding places. However, many students do have cars, and we can advise you on car hire if required.
Note that the legal age for driving varies from state to state in the USA. In general if you are over 18 you should be able to drive, although many hire companies will not rent cars to those under 25. If you do hire a car, the rental office should be able to tell you of any driving laws particular to the state you are in. Read more useful information on Student Club.
You will find the answer to more general questions about Embassy on our main FAQs page.
