No-one can describe life at an Embassy school more clearly than the people who are there every day.
Here is your chance to meet some of the students at Embassy Boston Lasell.

Andrea Armelin da Cunha - Brazil
My experience:
I went to Embassy in order to improve my English so that I could excel further in the Extension course I was taking at Harvard University at that time.
I am glad to have met Linda, who was the Director of the school at that time, and not only guided me through my trajectory as an Embassy student, but kindly offered me the position of Students' Co-ordinator for all international students.
I truly enjoyed co-ordinating trips and making sure everyone was comfortable and happy at school. I'm confident that everyone had an unforgettable time together exploring the many great things Boston has to offer. There is no way to express how much I learned from my experience at Embassy.
Now, as an attorney living in Washington DC, I look back on the time I spent in Boston and am confident that my experience at Embassy greatly contributed to my further achievements, for example when I recently graduated from my Masters Degree at Boston University School of Law and was chosen to receive the Class Marshall award in honor of my leadership attitude. Those and other moments I keep it in the very depth of my heart, and I thank Embassy and specially, Linda Walsh, for all those memories.

Yamada Akihiro - Japan
Diploma of English
My top tip for learning:
I strongly recommend using English all the time - it is also the advice from my teacher. It means that I should always speak English here. I always spend time with my foreign friends so I can speak English a lot. Even if I talk to Japanese friends I try to speak in English.
When I watch the TV, use my computer or read newspapers, I always use English. Sometimes it's hard for me but I believe this is the best way to improve my English language skills.
My top tip for enjoying Boston:
Boston is a very beautiful and historical city. Moreover, it's completely safe. So I go downtown in my free time. That gives me a relaxing and refreshing experience. I embrace the time.
On the other hand, sometimes I go to Fenway Park to see a baseball Red Sox game. It is so exciting!
I enjoy meeting new people and talking English to them. In Boston, I can feel relaxed and excited, depending on circumstances. Boston is the best place for me.
My experience:
I'm studying on the Diploma course at Embassy in Boston. This is my second stay because I came here last summer. However, it was just for a short time, so I came back here to study more English. This means I really like the school!
In my class we always discuss and ask our teacher about the things we want to learn. Therefore, our class is really active every day. Our teacher also answers and explains clearly all our questions.
At first, it was hard for me to speak and listen to English in my class but, thanks to my teacher's advice, now it's getting better. I feel my English language skills have improved.
In addition, I made a lot of friends here. Now I look at my own culture anew. I am learning many things here.
Therefore, my life in Boston means a lot to me. I really enjoy my life in Boston!
