- How far is the school from the city centre?

The school is very central: it's a few minutes' walk from the famous Boston Downtown Crossing shopping district, and Boston common. You can see a map on our Boston Downtown local information page.
- How far are the residences / the Homestays from the school?

Please see our Boston Downtown Accommodation section for full details. Homestays are a maximum of 60 minutes away by public transport, and often closer. Our primary residence is within 30 minutes' walk.
- Is there internet access at the school / at the residence / in Homestay? Is it free to use?

All our schools have wireless Internet access which is free and unlimited. Students can also use the school computers for free all day, but may have to wait during busy times.
The residence has wireless internet access in the lobby and the library.
Homestays differ, and we cannot guarantee internet access. Please mention at the time of booking if it is important to you, and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

- Do I need a car in Boston?

Public transport is excellent in Boston, and the city has a reputation for heavy traffic, complicated road systems, and angry drivers! Parking is also expensive. With all this in mind, we'd recommend that you don't need a car.
