My name’s Yuka Nara and I’ve been counselling students for three years. After four years of undergraduate study in Tokyo, I decided to come to the UK.

I still remember the excitement of coming here to study English for the first time! Everything was very different from what I had experienced in Japan, and I was discovering something new each day.

 I really enjoy cooking, travelling and reading books – and I recently started playing tennis with my son, Oliver. Although we are both beginners, we enjoy it so much (good exercise but really hard work for beginners -anyone who has tried it will know what I mean!) .

Hello! My name is Henrik Gundersen and I come from Norway. Hello! I'm Radek. I find myself here in Brighton, pushed by the urge to travel. In the past this desire has taken me to many different places such as USA and Germany, where I brushed up my language and communication skills in German and English. As I originally come from Poland, I had a chance to learn some Russian at school and then practise it during my short visits to Ukraine and Belarus. Unfortunately, in that language I am far from fluent.

I have always found learning languages fascinating, opening the doors to many different worlds, and before I knew it, I became a teacher of English myself. Now, I'm happy to be a part of a bigger picture - helping people from all over the world learn the most spoken language on Earth.

Hello, my name is Daniele Turati and I come from Italy. I'm originally from Milan, and have been living and working in England since 2005. I have a degree in International Relations, and since I was a student at university I have had the desire to travel to improve my languages skills, and meet people from different countries.   

Now, being part of Embassy CES gives me the chance to use the knowledge I have gained, to fulfil and satisfy all the academic needs of our students. 

I believe that living in an English-speaking country is a fundamental experience in modern society, which allows students to discover new lifestyles, and to communicate with people from anywhere.

Hello! My name is Agnes Vinkler and I have been living in England (Brighton) since 2005, working for Embassy CES since then.

I had been counselling students about language courses abroad for over four years, so I gained lots of experience in this field and I am certain that this knowledge will be useful when assisting you with choosing and organising the most suitable course for you.

I am originally from the Southern part of Hungary (Kaposvar) but lived in the capital, in Budapest for my university and working years (five years). At the university my major was English and I am a certified teacher of English as a foreign language.
I am interested in languages; apart from Hungarian (which is my mother tongue) I speak English and German, but would love to learn some more languages.
I used to be a competitive swimmer (actually, a finswimmer) and I still love all kinds of water sports.

My name is Bijan Hassanpour. I currently live in the UK, but I'm originally from a city called Isfahan, located in the centre of Iran. It's very famous for its art and cultural history (and it's definitely worth a visit).

I lived - and started my education - in various Middle Eastern countries, and later completed my university course at Brighton University in the UK.

I speak, read and write Arabic, Farsi (Persian) and English fluently - that's three languages.

My area of responsibility as a Student Enrolment Advisor is to provide help and advice for students from the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa - which I greatly enjoy. Sou brasileira e residente do Reino Unido desde 2004. Cheguei aqui como estudante, primeiramente, em 2001 e completei o Proficiency (CPE) no mesmo ano entre Brighton e Londres, após haver ensinado inglês por 4 anos no Brasil. Brighton é um lugar fantástico para se viver, e por ser perto da praia, me lembra um pouco o Brasil. E uma cidade badalada no verão, e populada por pessoas de todo o mundo, além de ser conhecida como a ‘Londres ao mar’ da Inglaterra, tal o seu tamanho.

Hello! My name is Birnur Yavuz and I am from Turkey. I began studying at Embassy CES in Brighton in January 2007, and then carried on studying at Embassy's sister establishment, Bellerbys College. Spending one and a half years at Embassy and Bellerbys turned out to be one of the most rewarding of all the experiences I have had so far in my life. It also turned out to be something that put me on the road to changing my life forever. I hope other students can find the same fulfilment: I got so far ahead in my life and know how much I enjoyed studying and how much I learned.

Merhabalar! Ben Birnur Yavuz ve Türkiye’den geldim. Ocak 2007`de önce Embassy akabinde ise Bellerbys College`de eğitim gördüm. Bir 6 aylık zaman geçirmem hayatımda basıma gelen en önemli deneyimlerden biri olduğunu ve bir sene değil, beş sene atlamış olduğumu düşünüyorum. Benim kendimi daha çok bulmama ve doğru yolda karar vermemde cabası… Her zaman bildiğim ama bir turlu ortaya çıkaramadığım bir çok şeyleri grup algıladığım bir yıl oldu… Yani kabuğumdan sıyrıldığım… Umarım tüm öğrenciler kendi hayatlarının doğru olan sayfasını çevirip hem öğrencilik hem sosyal hayatlarından keyif alırlar…
