My job is to match students with businesses as part of their Internship programmes.
I am so pleased to work with such supportive staff and such a varied student body. Finding host companies in New York City is an exciting task, which allows me to see work environments in many different industries.
My responsibilities also include teaching interview techniques, business etiquette, and resumé-writing, as well as accompanying students to their interviews. It is always a pleasure to place a student on an internship which helps to broaden their view of the working world and allows them to use their English language skills in a professional setting. Internship students have diverse educational backgrounds and work histories, which keeps me motivated and challenged to find interesting and educational placements for them.
