I'm 24 years old and from Okinawa, Japan. My maternal grandfather was American but he died when I was a young child and I forgot my English. I'm now a graduate engineering student. I've been living in San Francisco for five weeks already. I came here with the aim of completing a business Internship program with Embassy. I took an intensive General English course before my Internship and am very happy with the results. I have not only made great progress in English but have also made many friends and learnt a lot from my teacher.

I live with a host family which consists of a host father, a host mother and two children aged 3 and 11 years old. They are such lovely people and we share a lot together. I am glad I took the decision to live with an American family. I'm now looking forward to visiting the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz island prison. I know I'm going to enjoy as much as I can in San Francisco.
