Lorna Hicks, Teacher at Embassy CES Oxford

Lorna Hicks, Teacher

One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is meeting new people from all over the world. I taught English and teacher training in Ghana many years ago, and I have been at Embassy CES in Oxford since 1998. Before that I taught English as a Foreign Language in a big state college in Oxford.

I like Oxford because it is a lively place with plenty going on and it's near to London, but is still small enough to know a lot of people.

In my free time I like reading, going to the theatre and the cinema, walking, art exhibitions, needlework, languages, and my family.
