Hastings - seafront cycle path
Hastings is situated on England's south coast, and in the summer months, becomes a popular destination for holidays and day-trips. The shingle beach, pier, and promenade are all pleasant places to explore.
As you can see in this picture, there is also an extensive cycle path along the seafront, part of a network which allows you to travel on two wheels as far as Dover.
Outside summer, Hastings seafront can still be an appealing place to walk. Depending on the weather, you might see calm seas or dramatic stormy ones, but it's never boring.
See a map, and find out more about Hastings and St Leonards, on our Hastings local information page.

Hastings - street to the sea
Our school is situated in St Leonards, the adjacent and adjoining town to Hastings. This view shows the main street through St Leonards to the sea.
In Hastings you will find bigger shops and High Street chains, while in St Leonards, there are more independent, traditional outlets. In both areas you can find everything you need: supermarkets, grocers, bakeries, clothes shops, hardware stores, restaurants and take-aways.
Find out more about the cost of living on our Hastings local information page.
