Five fun things to do near the school

• Visit Greenwich's famous museums – the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory, and the Fan Museum. The Museum in Docklands is not far away, either.
• Take advantage of Greenwich's boutiques, cafes and restaurants, or enjoy a film at the independent cinema.
• Attend one of the regular concerts or exhibitions held in the nearby O2 arena.
• Go for a walk in the beautiful Greenwich Park and on the way, stand on either side of the Greenwich Time Line.
• Have the unusual experience of walking under the River Thames via the historic Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

September Regent Street Festival: This very central London street closes to traffic and gives itself over to theatre and music.
December Great Christmas Pudding Race: Watch celebrities and others make their way round an assault course while holding a Christmas Pudding, in Covent Garden.
December Frost Fair: A wintery carnival with ice sculptures, husky dogs, market stalls, theatre and food.
