Ali Ugur Papuccu, Turkey - Student at Embassy CES Oxford

Ali Ugur Papuccu, Turkey

I'll be working in a foreign trade department of a textile company in Turkey so I need to speak very fluently: I need to improve my speech. The reason to come to England is I think British English is proper English.

I like Oxford. Oxford is a little town but in a few weeks you can feel like you're living at home - it's your home town. It's a special town. In the evenings we go to pubs, to clubs. The pubs and clubs close at 11.00pm, and the clubs maybe 1.00 or 2.00, so the next day is no problem!

I enjoy my lessons, especially the teachers: they are very good and very enjoyable. They try to attract your attention to the lesson in many ways - they behave like they are your friends so you enjoy it very much.

When I came I was a bit higher than Upper Intermediate and now I'm in Advanced. I feel that I've improved.
