Jeremy Key, Teacher
I've been a teacher here since June 2000. Before this I was in the bank in London, which I hated. I enjoy teaching much more. It's not as well paid, but it's certainly more rewarding in other ways: feedback from students, and that camaraderie and rapport that you build up with them over the term.
Brighton's got a certain aura about it, a certain buzz and it's kind of a young people's place. It keeps me young! There's lots to do; it's exciting.
I play tennis a lot, mostly in the summer but at the moment I'm doing the teaching diploma, the DELTA, so that occupies most of my life. I like cinema, theatre and just going out in the country, and travelling, you know.
