How it works…

The Embassy Pathway course is an intensive training programme, designed to equip you with the skills you need to succeed at university.

Embassy Pathways gives you an English language qualification which recognised by 70 universities and colleges around the world, without the need to sit the IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge exams.

What will I learn?

During the course, you will focus on:

• language skills
• academic reading and writing
• listening and speaking
• academic vocabulary

Your progress is assessed continually, through classwork and assignments as well as mid-term tests and tutorials.

All our Embassy Pathway courses are divided into four stages. Depending on the institution you will usually need to successfully complete a minimum of Stage 3 to start your undergraduate study, and you will need to complete Stage 4 to start a post-graduate degree.

Across the globe, there are different educational requirements to enter university. With that in mind, our courses vary from country to country to suit the needs of the national system they serve. However, the academic content, the number of lessons, and the outcomes are the same across all Pathways courses. The quality of the courses allows you to transfer easily between programmes, if you wish to.

What are the course requirements?

Embassy Pathways courses are for students who have successfully completed high school in their home country. When one or more of our partner institutions has accepted your high school qualifications, they will grant you ‘conditional acceptance’. Then, before beginning your degree, you satisfy the partner institution’s English language criteria by studying on an Embassy Pathways course. You will not have to pass the IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge exams.
