Tom Hall, Teacher at Embassy CES Brighton

Tom Hall, Teacher

I've been teaching at Embassy CES since 2002. Before that I was teaching business courses in the Spanish Pyrenees. I spent ten years in France and Spain and recently returned.

I enjoy the variety of teaching, and also learning from the students about their social situation. It's a lot more interesting than teaching a monolingual class, and also there's more variety in the types of classes, because there's exam preparation, business, and normal classes.

I'm from Brighton. I love it. I love the sea, the personality of the place, the tolerance, the liberalism, the music culture, everything about it.

I play football every week; I'm a keen sportsman; I love adventure sports. I did a parachute jump just before Christmas. It was good fun, really, really good fun. Being in the plane is a lot scarier than actually jumping out.

I like music very much, travelling very much - any opportunity for a trip, and I'll be gone as soon as possible.
