Katy Rand, Housing Coordinator at Embassy CES Boston

Katy Rand, Housing Coordinator

I am the Housing Coordinator at Embassy CES in Boston. My job is to place our students with American host families. This is my fifth year as the Housing Coordinator. Before working at Embassy CES I was a Realtor, helping people buy and sell homes.

I really enjoy my job. I have the opportunity to meet students from all over the world and have learned about different languages and cultures. I also meet wonderful American families who welcome our students into their homes. My colleagues are very professional and are always enthusiastic. I started my career at Embassy CES as a host family. I was born in Washington DC but have lived in Boston for may years, and have raised my three children here.
