I love Perth and I love Australia. Originally British, born and raised in Manchester, I spent ten years working around the world teaching English. I had fabulous experiences in Japan, Venezuela, India and Guatemala.

I first came to Perth eight years ago to meet up with other members of my family for a Christmas holiday. After two days in Perth, I knew this was where I wanted to spend the rest of my life.

I am now happily an Australian citizen and I am in my dream job. As Dean of Languages at Embassy CES Perth, I am in charge of all the different English programmes that we offer.

Of course, I love teaching and I'm interested in English language, but what really makes this a special job is getting to meet so many cool, interesting, different and culturally diverse people.  Every day is different. My job is to make sure that all the courses run smoothly, that students enjoy their studies, enjoy Perth, to find great teachers and keep them happy so they can focus on teaching really well, and to help people with any problems that they have.
