Working week: The Senior Activity Leader works six days out of seven each week.
Reports to: The Activity Manager
Main duties / responsibilities
- To ensure successful delivery of the on-site activity programme
- To plan and promote day time and evening activity sessions
- To ensure that all staff are adequately prepared for their activity sessions
- To ensure all notice boards and posters are up-to-date and well presented
- To supervise the on-site Activity Programme
- To carry out Activity Leader observations
- To liaise with service providers for on-site activities
- To support and assist the other managers at the centre
- To carry out the 24hr emergency duties on a rota basis
- To carry out residential supervision duties, including meal and bedtime supervision and guardian duties
Person Specification
Essential:
- Strong team player

- Ability to lead and inspire a team of staff
- Enthusiasm
- Flexibility
Ideally you will have:
- Summer school experience
- Experience of training for or working in the sport, leisure or similar industry
- First Aid qualification
Additional Notes: Please note that this position requires considerable walking on guided tours, carrying sports equipment from the centre to the fields and moving furniture in preparation for indoor activities.
Location: Senior Activity Leaders are employed in our larger centres.

- Remuneration depends on the size of the centre and the experience of the applicant.
- The post is residential (Full board accommodation is included)
