Working week: The Centre Administrator works 13 sessions per week (based on a 42 hour week)
Reports to: The Centre Manager

Main duties / responsibilities

  • To assist in the day-to-day operation of the centre
  • To assist the Centre Manager with student rooming
  • To collate the weekly paperwork
  • To reconcile the weekly accounts in conjunction with the Centre Manager
  • To liaise with the Head Office Admissions department
  • To support other managers when required
  • To assist with meet and greet of students and to carry out student induction as directed
  • To assist with the organisation of departure transfers and ensure student departure runs smoothly
  • To carry out residential supervision duties, including meal and bedtime supervision and guardian duties

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Previous office experience
  • Computer literate
  • Experience of handling petty cash
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Flexibility

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous summer school experience
  • Experience of working with teenagers

Remuneration

  • Remuneration depends on the size of the centre and the experience of the applicant
  • The post may be residential, which would include full board accommodation
