The Embassy Diploma of English is a comprehensive language course which can help you achieve internationally recognised English exam qualifications.

English fluency in 9 months

During an academic year abroad, focused language teaching and academic subjects will fast-track your learning. You'll gain fluency, achieve valuable qualifications and can opt to progress to a university degree course.

Nine or six month duration

If you are already a higher level student, or if time is limited, you may wish to opt for a two term semester course. The content is exactly the same as for the Diploma and you will receive the Embassy Certificate of Completion when you finish your studies. 

English language exam success

The course is designed to integrate with preparation for internationally recognised English exams. Choose between the Cambridge ESOL exams, TOEFL and IELTS.

A university place, guaranteed

In the USA, successful completion of the course guarantees a place on a degree course at one of our partner universities (for England, see our University Preparation course).

Progress

Your development will be monitored through a series of assignments and oral and written exams each term. Every student will have a personalised study plan. Regular interviews, assessments and study in the computer laboratory will supplement your lessons.

Your achievement

At the end of the course you will receive a full written academic assessment and report, in addition to the Diploma of English.
