The school
Embassy CES San Francisco is a unique, refurbished stand-alone building. It's located between Nob and Russian Hills in the Polk Street business area, famous for restaurants, shops, cinemas and local entertainment. The school is within walking distance of hotels and residences and close to all public transport.
When full, our San Francisco school has a capacity of 180 students. The minimum age is 16.

Facilities
Lessons take place in one of twelve fully-equipped classrooms.
Students also have access to a quiet area for self-study including listening, TV, VCR facilities and a library.

All Embassy CES schools have wireless internet access: why not bring your laptop with you?
Internet and email is also available in the computer laboratory, which has laptop connectors too.
To relax, take advantage of the atrium-style student lounge with its ping pong table and kitchen.
All rooms and facilities are accessible to wheelchair users.

The city
San Francisco is one of the most beautiful locations in the United States, with its steep hills and views across the bay. It's a wonderful city to see by foot or by cable car, offering a cosmopolitan lifestyle with a leisurely pace.
The city can be divided up into several neighbourhoods, the names of which may already be familiar. Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, Haight-Ashbury and Little Italy have all featured in many films and TV programmes. Each area has its own attractions, from famous sights to architectural gems to shops and boutiques.
A fully integrated public transport system makes it very easy to get around.

Attractions
There are so many things to see and do in this city that the hardest part is knowing where to start.
Of course you won't want to leave without seeing the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf or Chinatown. Along the way, you'll see picturesque views of the city that are just perfect for photographs.
Directly across the Golden Gate Bridge is Marin County with its charming towns, mountains and state parks. Students may take advantage of day trips to Napa Valley wineries, Monterey, Carmel, Yosemite Park or Redwood National Parks. Disneyland and Universal Studios are just one hour away by regularly scheduled flights.
