Attractions
They call Fort Lauderdale the 'Venice of America' and, naturally, many of the attractions are based in or around water. You might take a trip in a glass-bottomed boat, visit the Swimming Hall of Fame or take a stroll down the Riverwalk. In any case, water is never far away.
If you prefer dry land, spend some time at the city's museums and art galleries. The Museum of Discovery and Science includes an IMAX cinema. The Museum of Art (on the same street as our Embassy CES centre) is regarded as one of the best in America.
Of course, the beach is a major attraction. You'll find events all the year round, including the International Boat Show and 4th of July celebrations.
