Activities

You can do everything from bush walks and nature studies to abseiling, canoeing and mountain biking. Ride through towering pine forests and along miles of empty black beaches. There's parachuting (tandem or solo) and sea kayaking. If you are feeling a little weary, finish off your day by soaking in replenishing mineral waters at a thermal resort.

New Zealand offers much more than excellence in education. Few countries in the region can offer a better lifestyle in such a beautiful environment. From sub-tropical paradise to towering snow-capped mountains, deep fast flowing rivers and crystal clear lakes, New Zealand has it all.

The City

Auckland is a modern city surrounded by subtropical islands, sparkling waters and lush native rainforest. Unsurprisingly, it has been voted amongst the best places to live in the world. Residents enjoy a warm coastal climate without extremes of temperature.

Auckland lies across an 11 km wide volcanic isthmus separating two harbours - the Waitemata and Manukau.

The city buzzes with an atmosphere of fun and excitement. The waterfront, restaurants and bars are popular by both day and evening. Auckland, City of Sails, is a vibrant South Pacific city and offers an incomparable, unique lifestyle.

Attractions

Auckland has plenty to interest culture lovers, with its art gallery, museums, historic village and botanic gardens.

If outdoor sports are more your thing, Auckland is probably the best place you could wish for. Try bungee jumping off the harbour bridge, abseiling or white-water rafting.

After all that, you'll want to relax with something a bit less extreme. How about a visit to one of the many surrounding vineyards, or a cruise around that famous harbour?
