Embassy CES Los Angeles - a heavenly location

The municipal pier at Manhattan BeachWhat have volleyball, surfing, and Johnny Depp got in common? They are all part of what makes the new location of Embassy CES' Los Angeles school special.

In January 2007, the school moved to Manhattan Beach, an idyllic location which students really love. After lessons, they can stroll to the beach and enjoy everything that the mild climate, white sands and relaxed local community offers.

Volleyball is immensely popular here: the annual tournament is considered the most important in the sport's calendar. It's such a well-known spot for surfing that the Beach Boys' song 'Surfin' USA' mentions Manhattan Beach. And it's the home to many celebrities, including film actor Johnny Depp. When a Hollywood star chooses a place as his home, you know it has to be pretty special!

Of course, the school is just as important as the location. The school is situated on the campus of Chapman University, one of the oldest educational institutions in California. Chapman University is a private institution, which offers a wide range of undergraduate degree programmes specialising in arts, sciences, film and business.
