Embassy CES student goes on to great things

Korean student Tae Hyun Kim is an Embassy CES success story. In Boston, the Embassy CES school is situated on the campus of Lasell College, so it's very easy for students to transfer to a degree course after their English studies. Tae Hyun began as a student of English at Embassy CES and reached a high enough level to enrol at Lasell. She chose a Fashion Design degree. Some would say that simply studying abroad, in a foreign language, was a great achievement, but Tae Hyun went further than that. This photograph shows her receiving an award for being on both Lasell's Dean's List and the Honors program. That means she was rewarded for 'academic excellence' and gaining consistently high grades in her first semester at the college. In other words, she did better than many of her American classmates on the same course. We congratulate Tae Hyun: she proves that it's possible to go on to great things after a course with Embassy CES! |
