TOEFL preparation: FAQs

These are the questions we are most frequently asked about the TOEFL preparation course.

When are the TOEFL exams held?

You can see test dates on the official TOEFL site - scroll down to 'United States' to see the dates for each city.

Where are they held?

Some of our schools are TOEFL exam test centres, which means you can take the exam there. Otherwise, you will be booked in to a nearby local test centre, and given all the details ahead of time.

Which English exam should I take?

Here is a table showing the exams suitable for different levels and aims.

Beginner You'll need to join our Certificate of English course and obtain a Pre-Intermediate level before you can prepare for exam courses with Embassy. No problem! We can work out a study plan for you.

Are text books and materials provided?

Yes, all course books and supplementary materials are provided on this course. You may wish to purchase additional supporting books, although they are not essential.

What level must I be to take this course?
