One-to-one: FAQs

These are the questions we are most frequently asked about One-to-one.

If you have a question and cannot find the answer below, please contact us - we'll be happy to help and we might even add your question to this page.

Can I just book One-to-one lessons, without booking a main course?

Sorry, we do not offer this option. Your One-to-one course must be a supplement to a class-based course.

Can I book twenty, or even forty lessons of One-to-one a week?

We don't recommend it! One-to-one lessons can be quite tiring and we reckon that an additional ten lessons per week is about the maximum that can be managed on top of a main course.

Are text books and materials provided?

One-to-one lessons are tailored to your needs, so you will not usually be following a text book. The teacher is more likely to bring in photocopied exercises and materials from a variety of sources, to tackle the areas of language you need to work on.
