Business English in Action: your timetable

Course length
This consists of four weeks' Intensive 28 English and either four or eight weeks on a placement. (Maximum of twelve weeks)

Schedule
Begin with four weeks on an Intensive 28 course (Embassy Certificate of English, Certificate Eight, Language Semester Abroad, or Certificate of Business English) to improve your core language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking; then opt to spend either four or eight weeks with a US host.

Requirements

  • A pre-arrival telephone interview is required before you can be accepted.  
  • Minimum entry level for course: 4 (Intermediate).  
  • Minimum entry level to spend time in a US host organisation: 5 (Upper- Intermediate).
  • If your English level is not at the required standard, you can choose to defer the placement and undertake some additional weeks of language training to reach the required level.
